BaseReg is an Internet-based event registration service. Accessible from a browser*, it enables an administrator to define event details, create event information pages, extract data to Excel and clear down data ready for the next event. |

| How do you get started? | You notify us of the email address of your administrator. We send an email to the administrator containing a password and the URL to the database. The administrator logs into the system on the web, enters details of the event, enters the text (HTML) that will appear on the welcome page, enters the text that will appear on the page for enrolled people and sets the starting and ending dates for registration. The administrator can also decide which questions will be asked and which ones will be mandatory. |
| How do people register? |
During the registration period defined by the administrator, people will be able to enter their email address to enrol. A password will be sent to the person by email enabling them to log in and complete their registration document. Once the person has completed all mandatory fields the document can be saved and the registrant will be able to see the information page. |
| What information can you get? | The administrator will be able access on-screen reports of registrations and be able to export the data to Microsoft Excel. |
| What happens at the end of the event? | After exporting the data you want to keep, you can clear the database down and reuse the database for the next event. You can keep on doing this for the duration of your service contract. |
| How do you tell the world? |
Let the world know about your event. Send emails to all your potential attendees inviting them to visit the registration site. How do you do that?
We don't impose any limits on you for this service. Send as many addresses as you like. Our mailing agent operates once per hour and runs for up to 15 minutes. Any mail that has not been sent in that period will be carried forward to the next hour. How much does it cost? Nothing - all part of the BaseReg service. |
| How much does BaseReg cost? | We keep it simple! £500 for the first month and £200 per month thereafter up to a maximum of twelve months. You may contract for one to twelve months. To us, a month is 31 consecutive days: So you don't lose out in shorter months. We don't mind how many people register - you won't pay any more. |
| How is it paid for? | Monthly in advance by interbank transfer. Discounts are available for semi-annual and annual advance payments. |
| What about privacy, security, and confidentiality? | We take careful precautions to protect our customers' information. Our servers are as secure as can reasonably be provided, and are housed in a state-of-the-art secure facility with power and internet backup. Your database is password protected and we will not sell or share your information or any data you enter. No one will be able to access your data unless you grant permission. Though we offer safeguards to protect your data, please keep in mind that we cannot guarantee 100% security. Take appropriate measures with your links, passwords, and user accounts. |
